I cannot really say I’m addicted to the X-Factor or to any of its brothers or sisters, and yet, I fell in love (musically of course) with the winner of the 2009 vintage Italian X-Factor. His name is Marco Mengoni, he is only 21 years old but is already the great singer of colourful and catchy pop rhythms.
Being a newcomer in the music industry, its success is mainly confined to his native Italy at the moment but I have no doubt he will soon come out and broaden its audience in the coming years. With two albums already in stores, he proudly bears a position number 9 in the Italian charts in 2009 with Dove si vola and was first in 2010 with Re matto. Two platinum albums then and we hope that they are the very first ones of a long series.

happy you’ve fallen in love with this incredible Italian young singer…really, he can be seen as the most interesting voice not only in Italian panorama…and i certanly agree with your hope of a widening audience and a far more reaching of greater visibility …he really deserves it!
